About CFI
Founded in 2010, the mission of Communities First, Inc. (CFI) is to build healthy, vibrant communities through economic development, affordable housing and innovative programming.
We focus on providing safe, quality affordable housing and implementing programs that improve the quality of life for all. To empower people, we educate about financial literacy and connect entrepreneurs with resources, host arts and culture experiences, and lead community engagement opportunities. These programs operate simultaneously to provide wrap around supports to community members.
To date, we have developed and preserved over 600 units of quality, affordable housing. Annually, our programs and services engage 35,000 people.
