Flint, MI — Communities First, Inc. (CFI) is excited to announce CFI Ski Day 2026, a free winter experience designed to introduce families to skiing and snowboarding in a fun, supportive environment. The event will take place on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Mt. Holly Ski & Snowboarding Resort in Holly, Michigan.
CFI Ski Day is part of Communities First’s Culture Shock Program, which introduces youth and families to new recreational, cultural, and educational experiences they may not otherwise have access to.
The event is free and open to participants ages 7 and up, but space is limited at tinyurl.com/SkiDay26.
“At Communities First, we believe opportunity starts with access,” said Glenn Wilson, CEO and President of Communities First, Inc. “Our Culture Shock series is about breaking down barriers and giving families opportunity to experiences that can feel out of reach — whether that’s skiing for the first time, visiting new places, or trying something completely unfamiliar. CFI’s Ski Day is about more than recreation; it’s about building confidence, creating shared family memories, and showing our community that these experiences are for them too.”
