Flint, Mich. – Communities First, Inc. is bringing the ultimate summer mashup to downtown Flint with two of its most beloved events combined into one epic, free evening of music, movies, food, and fun—all under the stars!

On Friday, August 1, audiences can enjoy a back-to-back experience starting with the high-energy blues, rock, and soul sounds of Chambers/DesLauriers (6–8 p.m.), followed by family activities, giveaways, and a showing of the animated classic Toy Story at dusk. The event takes place on the lawn behind Flint City Hall, 1101 S. Saginaw St., Flint, MI 48502.

“This is more than just a concert or a movie night—it’s a celebration of community,” said Glenn Wilson, President and CEO of Communities First, Inc. “We’re excited to bring people together to enjoy great entertainment in a space that reflects the heart and spirit of Flint.”

The event is part of the Levitt AMP Flint Music Series, supported by the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, and the 12th season of Movies Under the Stars, a staple in CFI’s lineup of free, family-centered programming.

Food will be available from Bella’s Concessions & Catering, and prize giveaways will keep the excitement going between the concert and film.
