FLINT (WJRT) - (04/21/14) - Communities First is teaching Flint home and business owners to reduce, reuse and recycle.
The non-profit group kicked off a "Green Life Community Education" program on Monday.
The idea is to get people in the "Vehicle City" excited about recycling and protecting the environment.
"It's very important for people to recycle. Not only does it help the economy, it also helps with our waste as a overall city be able to impact our environment," said Glenn Wilson, Communities First President & CEO.
Communities First will host forums in each ward of Flint, challenging local businesses and homeowners to adopt a greener way of life.
